With SqlBuddy, the most novice user can quickly and easily construct and execute database commands and view the results. SqlBuddy allows you to browse through database servers, databases, and tables and to retrieve data. SqlBuddy's point-and-click query builder lets you create Structured Query Language queries without knowing any SQL. You can select databases, tables, and columns that will be included in the query; specify relationships between the tables; sort results; and use advanced SQL features such as grouping and computes. The Rich Query format extends the query description to include relationships between all of the query' s parts. SQLBuddy can save results from executed commands as RTF files, as plain text, or in a user-defined format. Database programmers and administrators can browse the system tables and run any database command. For convenience, all database commands and all system-stored procedures are available as templates from the menu. Frequently used queries and commands can easily be saved to the menu. Academic discounts are available.
