SRTransport is a data interface engine that provides for flexible control over the translation and validation of the data. For example, one data file can be transported to many tables, and multiple data files can be transported to a single table. A 4GL language provides the basis for customizing the processing and the flow of data. SRTransport utilizes transaction control, record archiving and data validation to reliably process your data. Implemented with a powerful graphical user interface, SRTransport makes it possible for domain experts to "configure" data loads, obviating the need for custom-built programs. Once the transport of data is configured, it can be run as a batch job on a variety of servers (NEXTSTEP QUAD, SunOS, Solaris, HPUX & DGUX). SRTransport is also a highly-effective tool for implementing data warehousing solutions. In addition, SRTransport is available as an add-on to vertical market information systems. End-customers gain more usability from your product since they can quickly and easily transport data from their existing databases into your system.
