ScanTastic Version 2 provides NEXTSTEP connectivity to various color image scanners for both Intel- and Motorola-based platforms. ScanTastic features a Customizable Icon Bar that provides a simple method for choosing scanner settings based on output requirements. An interactive preview zone allows adjustments to be made to the image before the final scan is committed. A tool palette is provided for area selection and zooming. The user has access to such advanced controls as Precision Tone Curves, Brightness & Contrast Sliders, Sharpness control and Channel Independent Image Balance-all in an elegant, accessible user interface.
